Between 1998 and 2001, Eric Thiegs & Bug Candy played over 100 shows in the Minneapolis and St. Paul original music scene. The band brought a unique mix of folk and silliness with songs like the MP3 chart-topper Pocket of Love. From the 400 Bar to The Cabooze to The Fine Line to The Bryant Lake Bowl, dozens of popular live music venues and bars in the Twin Cities hosted the band and its fans.

October 1998: Humble beginnings - Bug Candy's first gig was in a little world beat venue called The Red Sea.
